What data we collect
talous.io uses Umami Analytics to track site usage. Umami stores no personal data, uses no cookies, and does not track users across sites.
Data collected:
- Page view counts
- Calculator used and example scenario
- Browser language and screen size (aggregated)
- Country (derived from IP address, not stored)
Numbers you enter into calculators (salary, loan amount, etc.) are never sent to our servers. They are processed in your browser only.
Purpose
Analytics data is used solely to improve the service: understanding which calculators are most popular and which features are used most.
Data retention
Umami stores aggregated analytics data on its own servers. Data is not shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Calculator inputs are stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) to improve your experience. You can clear them in your browser settings.
Cookies
talous.io does not use tracking cookies. Your chosen theme (light / dark) is stored in your browser's local storage.
Your rights
Because we do not collect identifiable personal data, requesting a data export or deletion is not applicable. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
